Enzyme metabolism ATP Absorption Gland Hormone definition

 Enzyme: 

Enzymes ate portein molecules in cells which work as catalysts.  They are involved in chemical reaction and remain unchanged after reaction.  Their names often ends with (ASE). 

Examples: Amylase,  lipase etc

Metabolism:

The whole range of biochemical processes that occur within a Living organism.  The term metabolism is a process of breakdown of food and its transformation into energy. Metabolism consists of anabolism and catabolism.

ATP:

(Adenosine try phosphate) ATP is a form of energy,Produce  in mitochondria which are usable for thr cell.

Absorption:

It is the Process ny which the substances enter into the cell. Example: Absorption from intestine. 

Gland: 

An organ or group of specialized cells in the body that produces and secretes a specific substance, such as a hormone.

Hormone:

Hormone is a chemical substance secreted by endocrine gland and exerts a Physiological  control effect.

Examples: Pancreas- Insulin, Thyroid- Thyroxin.
